Perfect curls have to be silky, long-lasting, well-defined, not frizzy with humidity and not lose shape, but for all this they need to be perfectly hydrated. Curly hair needs daily care and maintenance; it is the only way not to have tangled hair with a neglected appearance.
This hair is very prone to drying out, so all the products you use should be specially designed to hydrate it to the maximum. One trick is to always leave the conditioner on longer than usual and never give up on the mask at least 2 or 3 times a week.
Women of the past combed their hair with a brush and little more, but now no one wants to give up having several styles within the same hairstyle. You can choose between wearing your hair with a defined curl, very marked or with a wet effect (similar to when you have just showered and combed). But for this, you need different products and different ways of applying them.
Defined curl. You want dry hair but with your curl marked and perfect, with the appearance of wearing it as if you hadn’t put anything on it. Mousses, creams and curl activators will be of great help; you just need to apply them with your fingers to slightly damp hair and dry your hair with the diffuser of the dryer at minimum (with your head upside down).
Very marked curl. You will get hard and marked curls and choose the same products indicated above but in their ultra-strong version. As the hair dries, do not touch it again with your fingers so you don’t end up with most of the product on your hands. Waxes and total fixation lacquers are also very good for achieving this effect.
Wet curl. Here the products have to be applied with wet hair (remove moisture just with a towel). Once applied, comb with a wide-tooth comb and don’t touch it again. If it falls on your face, use bobby pins, and also scarves, etc., because if you use your hands continuously, you will remove the wet effect little by little.
If you notice that with the three effects your curls are more defined at the ends than from mid-length upwards, cut a little at the hairdresser, so that by weighing less, the hair will curl even more.
