Never Neglect Your Image
When we start a relationship, everything seems to go well, but the more time we have spent together, the more we have met the families, gained confidence, gotten married and had children, something changes and not everything seems to go so well; now responsibility is demanded.
Once we are at the stage where we have formed a family, we enter a world full of responsibilities. It is good to be responsible women, but not excessively. At least not so much that we end up neglecting ourselves as women, because then small problems will also arrive that will grow over time.
Many of us women feel so good in our role as mothers and housewives that we don’t realize how much we are neglecting ourselves, and then when we discover an infidelity on the part of our husbands we ask ourselves «But why me? If I gave everything in the relationship, I always had everything perfect at home, if we were a family… and why now if we have been together for so long? Where did I fail? In what did I not contribute to this relationship, home and family? What happened? Why?…»
Do you know where you failed? In neglecting yourself.
This does not justify his bad behavior and infidelity, but you also failed by not taking care of yourself. Women should always be beautiful and feel beautiful. Since every woman is beautiful, no man should leave us for being neglected. We can be mothers, friends, wives and many things at once… but above all, let’s be beautiful women and not let anyone lower our self-esteem.
Sweep away the shadow you have beside you that dims your beauty, prove to yourself how beautiful you are. Don’t let infidelity knock on your door making you feel and look ugly. Show your husband and yourself that you know how to stay pretty, beautiful and attractive. Don’t lose your good image and good composure with the passage of time and responsibilities. Try to always be pleasant to his eyes so that he doesn’t have to be looking at anyone else on the side, since he already has a complete woman beside him: you.
5 Tips to Look Better Physically:
Wear light-colored clothes (but not flashy).
Try to do your hair to highlight your face.
Always try to smile; the smile is the music of the soul, this will help with your self-esteem and make you look beautiful.
Always be kind to others.
Always do good without forgetting that God can help you in everything.
Married, mother, with a lot of work and responsibilities… it doesn’t matter: every woman is beautiful. So never let your beauty be forgotten and don’t neglect yourself.

Eight Steps to Sleep Well
1. No Light
It is essential to regulate the hormonal system that the room is dark, with no lights on, nor windows through which streetlight enters. The pineal gland is sensitive to light. When luminosity decreases, it secretes more melatonin (also known as the sleep hormone), which induces a state of relaxation and drowsiness. It is a hormone that regulates sleep, so if there is light at night, less melatonin will be secreted and it will be harder to rest well. At dawn, its secretion is inhibited and serotonin secretion increases, which is precisely involved in the production of melatonin. The intensity of artificial light at night in cities does not help regulate the natural sleep cycle. This characteristic of our era and the derived culture of nightlife have changed sleep patterns. Natural rhythms have been disrupted.
2. Food and Drink
Experts recommend having dinner at least 90 minutes before going to bed, a meal that does not cause heavy digestion. They also advise not going to bed hungry. That wouldn’t help with rest either. For dinner, better foods that meet the dual condition of being light and rich in tryptophan, an amino acid associated with the production of melatonin, the sleep hormone mentioned in the previous point. Sweets, avoid them. They can produce blood sugar spikes that later become hypoglycemia, which does not allow good rest. On the other hand, it is also recommended to avoid stimulating drinks, such as cola soft drinks, coffee and tea.
3. Electromagnetic Pollution and Technologies
Watching TV before sleeping or the computer screen, having the phone charging on the bedside table or other devices that need a transformer can cause alterations, according to Lluís de Lecea, specialist in sleep neurobiology at Stanford University, and Magda Havas, researcher of the biological effects of electromagnetic pollutants and associate professor of environmental studies at Trent University in Canada. Experts assure that screen images excite the brain, although it is also true that some people fall completely asleep in front of certain television programs. On the other hand, the brightness of the screen confuses the pineal gland, which is the one that secretes melatonin.
4. The Myth of Eight Hours
Sleeping eight hours can be counterproductive. At least this is what emerges from a study carried out by the American Cancer Society and ratified by Daniel Kripke, professor emeritus of the psychiatry department at the University of California, San Diego, in an article published in 2002 in Archives of General Psychiatry. In this study, one million one hundred thousand people participated for six years and focused on hours slept and their relationship with the frequency of sleep disorders, such as insomnia and other possible consequences. The results were surprising because they confirmed that people who sleep seven hours each night have a lower mortality rate than those who sleep eight hours or more.
That apparently wise saying that ideally divided the day into eight hours for work, another eight hours for leisure and the remaining eight hours for rest falls apart, not only because of the economic crisis, where some don’t work and others work too many hours, but because some experts point out that sleeping eight hours is not an ideal. In this study, almost half of the people slept eight hours or more.
«The old concept that the optimal duration of sleep is eight hours is not scientifically supported,» states Daniel Kripke. He then adds that the increased mortality risk as a result of increased sleep could be related to «sleep apnea,» which could block the patient’s breathing and cause significant health alterations. In the aforementioned study, the mortality risk rates of women who usually slept seven hours were 13% lower than those who slept eight hours, 23% lower than those who slept nine hours, and 41% lower than those who slept ten. In the case of men, the rates decreased by 12%, 17% and 34%, compared to those who slept eight, nine and ten hours, respectively.
In summary, sleeping a lot can be counterproductive. By the same rule, if you think that to achieve eternal life you shouldn’t sleep any hours, you’re also wrong, although sleeping little is not as dangerous. Daniel Kripke points out that women who only slept five hours increased the risk rate by 5%, while in men this percentage was 11%. And he concludes that sleeping an average of 4.5 hours appears associated with a lower mortality rate than half of the study sample that slept eight hours or more. According to this study, the ideal for having a lower mortality rate is between 6.5 and 7.4 hours.
Sure? Some studies corroborate it while others reach different conclusions. Experts do not agree and assure that it depends on each person and, of course, on age. «The hours you need to sleep, like the color of your hair, are largely determined by genetics,» explains Matthew Edlund, a doctor specialized in the biological rhythms of rest, director of the Center for Circadian Medicine in Florida and author of, among other books, Active Rest (Ed. Urano). Edlund mentions studies carried out three years ago, in 2009, with a mother and daughter with a rare version of the DEC2 gene, which affects circadian rhythms (the body’s internal natural rhythms). «These studies demonstrated that for both (mother and daughter) it was normal and restorative to sleep from 10 pm to 4 am: six hours. It was the amount of time they needed to sleep.» This same expert points out that, if a reference is desired, for babies it is between 16 and 18 hours; for children 2 to 4 years old, 12 hours plus a nap; 4 to 6 years old, 12 hours; 6 to 11 years old, between 10 and 11 hours; 11 to 14 years old, 9 hours; from 15 years old, between 7 and 8 hours. And in older people it can drop to six hours. But he insists that each person is different. Matthew Edlund notes that he himself has a colleague who only needs to sleep two to three hours a day to feel like new, «although as he gets older he sometimes prefers to sleep four hours.»
5. Schedules
Until now, more or less everyone has it clear that the best is to sleep the necessary hours but continuously and that waking up at night is a waste of time and a sure symptom of accumulated stress during the day. It may be, but what the body would do under normal conditions is another thing. This is what Roger Ekirch, a history professor at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech) who has specialized in researching everything related to sleep throughout history, assures. In his book At day’s close: night in the past he collects several references. Among the most striking are the investigations carried out by psychiatrist Thomas Wehr twenty years ago. The conclusion is that the natural pattern of the body is to sleep between three and four hours, wake up and remain awake for one to two hours, and go back to sleep for another three or four hours. In addition to this experiment, Roger Ekirch has collected a significant amount of historical references that also support this experiment. It was from the 19th century that the reference to sleeping in two stages was lost. If so, perhaps people would be less anxious if three hours after going to bed their eyes open wide. At least before it was normal. Now it is common, but not considered normal.
6. Activity
Exercising regularly is good, but not before going to bed (except relaxation exercises), as it can act as a stimulant since it stimulates the body. Ideally, exercise should be done in the mid-afternoon. It is when it is most benefited by the natural cycle of the hormonal system, which puts the body in conditions to get the most out of exercise. In addition, it can become a good stress reliever after work.
7. Should I Throw Away the Mattress?
Without a doubt, the mattress is important, and no less important is its maintenance. Young and not-so-young people complain of back pain after sleeping. They sleep the recommended hours and, instead, wake up tired and with a stiff body. They don’t rest well despite following all the recommendations. The mattress comes into play. According to the Spanish Bed Association, Spain is the European country where the most people sleep on old mattresses. They are changed every 12.6 years on average, while in Europe this figure is around ten years, as reflected in a study carried out by the European Bedding Industries Association. While it is true that mattress quality also determines its duration, it is advisable to keep a few tips in mind to keep it in good condition, as indicated by the Spanish Bed Association.
What to do? Air it every day. It is better to wait 5 to 10 minutes (with the window open if possible) before making the bed. Turn the mattress over at least four times a year, from left to right and from head to toe. Cleaning a mattress is difficult, so the best option is to protect it and always use a 100% cotton breathable cover. In addition, if possible, it is preferable to use a cover model that leaves the lower part of the mattress exposed, for correct ventilation of the entire rest equipment.
Clean the surface of the mattress with a vacuum cleaner, if possible every two weeks, to ensure that at least some of the mites and accumulated particles are removed. Before buying, it is advisable to try mattresses, bases and pillows simulating the positions adopted while sleeping. In the case of couples, it is convenient to take into account the occupied spaces and consider freedom of movement so that there are no interferences during sleep. Always change the mattress every ten years at most. After that time, the original firmness and hygiene conditions will have changed and not only will it not perform its function correctly, but it could even be harmful to health.
What not to do? It is not advisable to dry-clean the mattress or soak the upholstery of the rest equipment. It is also not recommended to use baking soda or other chemical elements that can damage the surface and even penetrate inner layers and deteriorate them. The old practice of beating the mattress to release dust and accumulated dead cells is not recommended for modern equipment, which could be damaged. Never fold or bend a mattress (except articulated mattresses), not even for a short time, as it will damage it irreversibly. Do not place sharp or heavy objects on it; although the mattress may seem like an ideal surface for placing furniture, they could cause irreparable damage. The mattress is designed for sleeping, not for jumping on. Do not use the mattress on a base that does not cover at least 60% of its surface or is in poor condition. Never use boards between the mattress and the bed base, as this can reduce the life of the mattress and even invalidate the warranty terms.
8. Natural Materials
We already know how to keep a mattress in optimal conditions. But what materials are the most suitable? Dreaming of an ideal bed, José Castillo, general director of Hästens for Spain, Andorra and Portugal, recommends using mattresses made of natural products (see attached text). Horsehair, cotton, linen and wool stand out. Now only the most important thing remains: go to bed and review what has been done during the day, as a spectator of a movie. You will almost certainly fall asleep.

You will need:
Frozen spoons, frozen vegetable bags, or cold compresses
Paper towel
Eye primer
Foundation
Concealer
Instructions
Place two frozen spoons, a frozen vegetable bag or a cold compress wrapped in a paper towel over your eyes for 5 to 10 minutes. The low temperatures will help reduce the dilated blood vessels under the eye and make your dark circles less noticeable.
Prepare your eyes for makeup by applying an eye primer under the eyes. This will prepare the skin for applying concealer and foundation and help set the makeup. Apply only a small amount of primer under the eye and use your ring finger to blend it. Let it dry completely.
Place a small amount of foundation in the area under the eye with your finger. Start at the inner corner and work outward. Use your finger to smooth the foundation and blend it into your skin. If you don’t do it correctly, you’ll be telling almost everyone to look at your spectacular face and focus on your little secret. Use a foundation that matches your skin tone. To know which one looks most like your color, apply a little of two or three foundations along your jawline and see which one most closely resembles your color.
Apply concealer with your finger. Again, place a little product under the eyes and spread it gently with your finger. Choose a yellow-based concealer that is one shade lighter than your foundation. The yellow tone will help counteract dark circles and the concealer tone will look very natural. If you choose a concealer that is too light, it will only enhance the appearance of dark circles and make you look like a clown. Keep applying concealer until your raccoon eyes have disappeared.

Skin problems have not always been as common as they are now; the prevalence of these dermatological diseases has increased decade after decade as our diet has worsened, while societies with traditional diets have not seen the same increase. In general, skin diseases such as dermatosis, chicken skin and acne are due to a hormonal problem or a systemic inflammation problem, both mediated by diet.
It is likely that many of us, to control all these problems, use certain hygiene, hydration and repair routines, and may even use a cortisone cream for dermatitis or a cream with a mild antibiotic to cure the local infection in pimples. It is not a bad strategy to take care of the skin locally, because some factors such as pollution or stress, which can also worsen our skin, are intrinsic to urban life. But treating the skin without taking care of the diet is like treating an infection only with aspirin to reduce fever, but not using antibiotics.
Basically, systemic inflammation is a way of saying that our body is running at forced marches, with the immune system stressed, which ultimately affects our skin. Certain foods are inflammatory and others are anti-inflammatory, but you also have to be careful with food intolerances. The hormonal issue, on the other hand, can cause confusion. Certainly, different hormonal milestones such as puberty, menopause or menstrual cycles are associated with a greater amount of pimples, but these hormones do not generally cause skin problems if they are not amplified by other hormones related to diet.
Since the topic is a bit complex and not everyone will be interested in knowing the causes, here are some brief nutritional tips to avoid acne and other skin problems:
Especially in the case of dermatosis or chicken skin, check that you do not have an intolerance or sensitivity to gluten or lactose. The idea is to not eat milk or cereals for a month.
Foods such as probiotics or those rich in omega-3 are anti-inflammatory. So are some foods rich in antioxidants, such as coffee or green tea (both in the long term) and of course fruits and vegetables. On the other hand, it is advisable to avoid harmful fats that cause inflammation: trans fats and seed fats (soy, canola, sunflower oil), rich in omega-6.
Milk or red meat can worsen severe acne cases due to their influence on androgen hormones.
It is key to keep insulin in check. To do this, avoid sugar and refined flours and pastas at all costs, and if you don’t notice improvement, also limit whole grains. Again, the best are fruits and vegetables.

As time passes, there are several changes in the structure of the skin and the structures that support it. These changes cause: wrinkles, flaccidity, lack of tone, lack of luminosity, spots and others. Almost all these changes are due to three factors:
1- Loss of subcutaneous fat. The layer of fat under the skin.
2- Changes in the skin. Such as its thickness and luminosity.
3- Changes in bone structure.
For these reasons, when a person has plastic surgery, they look better but do not look as if they were 20 years old again.
Fat Loss in the Face
The loss of fat means less volume. Changes such as sunken cheeks, hollows under the eyes and others are due to the loss of subcutaneous fat.
As you may have observed, overweight people seem to age more slowly. This is because the extra fat in the face makes the other changes less noticeable. On the contrary, thin people may sometimes look older than their age due to the lack of fat (volume) in the face.
Fat deposits help provide structure to the skin, especially in the cheeks and under the eyes. These deposits are deep in the skin, but there is also superficial fat.
The more superficial fat is affected by weight fluctuations, so it is important to maintain a stable weight. The larger and more frequent the weight fluctuations, the harder it is for the skin to recover, especially as we age.
Due to the problems caused by fat loss, there are several medical treatments such as fat transfers, filler injections and prostheses.
If there is excess fat or even normal levels, over time some people will experience movements in this layer, resulting in flaccidity. An example of this is the loss of the jawline or sagging cheeks. In these cases, a facelift can correct the problem.
Who develops flaccidity or fat loss is determined by our genes.

Know the fundamental steps to care for and protect your face
Although facial care is something you should do uninterruptedly throughout the year, summer arrives and with it, it is necessary to intensify all care. It is important to refresh your memory and remember that there are 4 essential steps you should follow to protect your face from external agents and thus avoid premature aging of your skin: 1. CLEANSING – 2. HYDRATION – 3. PROTECTION – 4. NUTRITION.
CLEANSING:
Do it both in the morning and at night to remove all dirt from the surface. Use the product that best suits your skin type, whether gels or milks, and always apply it carefully, in circular motions, without rubbing, and then rinse.
HYDRATION AND NUTRITION:
It is important to hydrate your face with creams, emulsions or gels to protect it from everything that can damage it. The best advice we can give you in this regard is to use a specific formula for the eye contour, since the skin in this area is much more delicate and weak and requires special care.
Nutrition is essential and you should use products that repair tissue damage and regenerate cells.
SUN PROTECTION:
When it comes to preventing premature aging of the skin, this is the fundamental step.
And yes, we know that every time you go to a pool or the beach, or have a picnic in the park, you probably apply sunscreen to your body and face, but what about the other days?
Facial skin is inadequately exposed to the sun every time we go out, walk down the street, or wait for a friend on a corner. And if we take care of our face and clean, nourish and hydrate it daily, why not protect it from the sun every day?
How should I do it?
It is necessary to remember to use facial sunscreens that hydrate and protect without a greasy effect, mattifying the skin.

What foods can you eat in unlimited amounts and not gain wei…
Weight gain occurs when more calories are consumed than burned. Approximately 3,500 excess calories are needed to gain one pound, according to the University of Nebraska. Eating 100 extra calories per day can lead to a weight gain of 10 pounds in a year. Some foods are very low in calories and make you feel full long before you eat enough to gain weight. Unlimited amounts of a single food can be problematic because they lead to an unbalanced diet.
Fruits
Fresh fruits are rich in water and fiber and low in calories. Fruits preserved in their own juice are low in calories, but fruits in syrup usually contain added sugars and calories. Dried fruits and fruit juices are lower in water and fiber, respectively, and provide more calories per serving than whole fruit. Fruits included in baked goods, such as cakes, or used as dessert ingredients are more likely to contribute to weight gain.
Vegetables
Most vegetables are free from restrictions on the amount you can eat. Celery, tomatoes and various types of lettuce have very low caloric content, high fiber content and high water content. Starchy vegetables, such as potatoes and sweet potatoes, tend to be higher in calories, although eating the skin increases the fiber content. Preparation is an important consideration: vegetables fried or sautéed in butter carry additional calories.
Water
Although technically not a food, water can create a feeling of fullness that translates into eating less at meals. Water has no calories and is an important part of a well-balanced diet. Extremely excessive water consumption can dilute sodium in the blood, leading to water intoxication.

With the help of shadows and eyeliner, a subtle play of colors and lighting can be carried out, with which you can disguise close-set, too-separated, droopy, round eyes… With these simple and basic rules, you can do your makeup like an expert, taking into account your needs.
Makeup for Wide-Set Eyes
To make wide-set eyes appear closer together, apply a light shadow on the upper eyelid and a darker one on the lower part. It is best to avoid pearlescent colors. In this case, to outline, start from the inner corner of the eye, next to the tear duct, on the side of the nose.
Makeup for Close-Set Eyes
If our goal is to make the eyes look more separated, apply a light tone on the inner part of the eyelid and the darkest on the outer part, blending it towards the temples. The eyeliner is drawn starting almost in the middle of the eye and stretching outward.
Makeup for Round Eyes
To lengthen round eyes with makeup, apply a light shadow on the inner part and with the dark shadow shade the edge of the eyelid, lengthening outward. Then, with the eyeliner, draw a line starting from the center of the eyelid; this way it will give the impression of being more elongated.
Makeup for Small Eyes
For small eyes, it is best to opt for soft tones, avoid dark ones and give a little luminosity in the center of the eyelid. Apply eyeliner on the edge of the upper lashes and the outer half of the lower ones.
Makeup for Bulging Eyes
For bulging eyes, pearlescent shadows should be avoided. It is best to use a light tone on the eyelid and a darker one along the crease. With the eyeliner, draw a dark line on the upper and lower lashes.
